This event was previously held in Oregon City but has relocated to Roseville, CA. It is hosted by Penny Davis, the NCAA’s national coordinator of women’s basketball officiating. She brings over 22 years of officiating experience at all levels of the game.

My name is John Butler, and I currently serve as a referee in the National Basketball Association. Alongside my professional officiating career, I founded the Professional Pathways Officials Academy (PPOA) to support the long-term development of basketball officials through education, mentorship, and high-quality on-court experience.
I’m reaching out to share an opportunity for officials within your association to attend the PPOA Camp, held May 30–June 2 at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, in conjunction with the Pangos All-American Camp

This camp is designed to support official development by strengthening core fundamentals, improving game management, and preparing officials for advancement at the high school and collegiate levels through structured instruction and live-game experience. Given your role in officiating education and development, we believe this would be a valuable opportunity for officials in your unit who are committed to continued growth.
Please note that officials are required to submit an officiating resume as part of the registration process. Submission of a resume does not guarantee acceptance, and selected officials will be notified once their materials are reviewed.
